  Hmm Green leather pants, I am not so sure those will catch on.  One thing I gotta say though is at least when you are a celebrity you can take chances and will immediately hear back from the public if they thought you were trend setting or not, unlike the rest of us who find out months later if people were making fun of us or not.  Mind you, I grew up in the 80’s back then I did get made fun of for tearing my jeans and cutting my shirts and now the same people that made fun of me are paying huge dollars for their teenagers to wear the same thing I wore 30 years ago.
